Requisite Thanks
I guess these things are kinda cliche, but isn’t that what the “holiday season” is all about anyway?
I’m thankful for my family who made me the weird, sometimes funny bitch I am, and who love me for some reason. I’m thankful for my friends, who I can always count on to make me laugh and get me sloshed. I’m thankful for finding honest, fun, intelligent love with a man who is quickly becoming one of the greatest friends I’ve had in my life. I’m thankful for my (and not quite my) hound dogs. I’m thankful for great films, moving literature, emotive music, and a killer photo. I’m thankful for all of the comedy and geekery I’m obsessed with. I’m thankful for my mind, my health (erratic as it may be), my home, my city, my mountain, my life…
There are so many things I could add to this list, some asinine, some enlightened, but I’ll stop here.
